Following our previous nexus meetings with youth activists, YOLAN held a nexus meeting with youth advocate and activists in Kabul. The youth advocates shared the most recent challenges they face and witness in their communities. They also shared of hopes and their resilience in overcoming to these challenges. They shared best practices to cope with the psychosocial challenges that Afghan females are facing currently because of the restrictions by the de-facto government such as banning of high schools for girls, and etc.
YOLAN will continue to support its network members by hosting nexus meetings, providing peer support, amplifying the voices of youth, community outreach, and other networking events.
